The male muscovy who has taken up residence in my yard appeared on July 23 with trauma to his face. His caruncle no longer sits straight on his face, and his bill is partially broken (looks like a chipped tooth). The area under where his caruncle sat looks bony. He was lethargic for a couple of days, and then started improving. He won't let me move the caruncle back to it's proper location, and I know it impedes the vision on his left eye, if only towards the front. He is eating normally, except he has difficulty getting the cracked corn off the ground, and prefers it from a cup.

Here is his face. He seems fine, health and personality just as before his accident. He lets me get close, but won't let me touch his face.

I assume he hit a car, tree, bulkhead, something. He was really hurting for a couple of days, but he has bounced back. But his caruncle is no longer centered on his head. I know it impairs his vision on the left side. Is it usually moveable?
