Me too,
Now they are saying we're getting snow tomorrow! I'm on the GA/FL line..... Hasnt snowed here to amount to anything in oh 20 years or so.... That ought to slow up laying!
Good luck with your eggs too, let me know how they do for you,
Aubrey

I hear that, us Georgians can't hardly even spell snoh <---- see lol let a lone actually get any to amount to anything, and my Sussex are starting to lay again too and I just got my first egg from this seasons Barred Rock pullets today and this darn weather change is probably going to get'm all screwed up again and set us back even further in selling eggs, I am hoping to start selling again in March too if everyone cooperates.

I hear ya RAREROO,
I am in the same boat. I had about 8-9 breeds/colors laying well enough to start selling off of, then this week started out cold and everything has woa,ed up on me. Be glad when spring if finally here!

Sounds like you folks way south of me will have more snow that us here in the mtns! Gotta gather kindling and split wood today to get fuel for the wood stove just in case we lose power. I have babies in the brooder in the great room.

I feel extremely lucky here in San Diego. My birds never stopped laying eggs when winter came around. Did winter even come around here??? lol I think we got a bit more rain than last year, much needed.

My thoughts are with you guys though, hope everyone manages to stay safe and warm!

Nevermind It's snowing pretty good here now. Well I don't really know what some of the northerners call pretty good, but it's preety good for South Ga.

Good luck with the snow! We got about 8" the other day, not unusual for us, still don't like it though.
BBB I got my eggs from e-bay today. They all look great and will go in the bator tomorrow!!
