d'anver lovers,discuss the breed and post some pics!

Aubrey! What color is white d'anver chick? The one that hatched look a lot like lavender (silverish), could also because it have not completely dry yet.

Here is an update on the tiny blue d'Anvers baby. It is getting a few colored feathers on the back.
Wondering what type of blue it will be.... yes, it the smallest and it is two weeks older. Don't know yet if it is roo or pullet so it has no name yet.

 
agree with JJ on the blue quail, when they show shoulder color that quick, usually a male.

Do, they are usually white to off yellow when hatched, but do have a blueish tint when wet. Some of mine have dun in their background and can at times make them a slightly smokey grey / white chick...they still end up white though
