These little D'anvers babies are just adorable! We're adding sand to the brooder, handling them several times per day, and treating the occasional bit of mess stuck in butt feathers (no blocked vents, just an occasional "klingon"

) with an organic, unscented jojoba oil lotion to remove and soften any matter, and keep them free back there. They're enjoying a high-protein starter crumble, and probiotics made fresh in their water every day. They are soooo adorable to hold!

We have a BIIIIG white-ish chick who is getting black wings! He towers above the normal brown millies and the gold millies. Too cute! Isn't genetics a hoot? I am so in love with these babies!

I only got one chick from your Buff Columbian eggs (off ebay). It sure is cute, though! Do you think it's Millie Fleur or BC?

now, that's what a mille chick is suppose to look like. I should take more pics and post on here I know, to show what I am talking about some times ... but in the post where I have talked about a mille chick is suppose to be dark in color.... that is a perfect example of the proper down color I have been trying to describe, beautiful and with that beard it should make for one awesome looking bird when it grows out!
