Planning on keeping one. Wendy was wanting the darks but could only find an assortment of eggs. Would surprise me if she kept all three colors and I would have to build more pens.

Ladyhawk and I had an order for Brahma chicks (sexed pullets) in place last March when I had the house fire and I had to cancel since couldn't brood chicks then. I love the Buffs and we both like the darks.

I already have a trio of show cuckoo d'anvers and am getting two more d'anvers a black cockerel and lavender hen and am wondering what colours i could hatch from my new pair

Black X Lavender will give all black chicks split to lavender. These chicks crossed together will give 25% lavenders, 25% black and 50% black split to lavender.

So would the same be said if you breed MillixLav splits together?

Millie x lavender splits will give all black chicks(may have gold leakage) all will be split to mottled and half will be split to lav.
