That's great! I cant believe everybody doesnt have some!!! I mean, if you like bantams, they are the perfect little birds for you.
All the hens are just as gentle as can be, most of mine are able to be picked up, hand fed etc, about 50% of the males are that way too, and maybe 15% of the males are sporty little buggers, which comes with any rooster really.
As for your colors, I'd definatley go with some cuckoos too, they are just awsome to look at..
Anyway, let me know if you need help with finding any, we have all the colors you mentioned, and then some, plus, I know about a dozen high quality other breeders as well....

I hear ya, I have tons of pics I need to get to work taking, we added on some many new varities and colors, my website is now a bit out dated. What all colors do you have in the d'anver? By the way, glad to see some one else has the silver quail too! They are one of my favorites...

I do need some more colors for sure. I have 2 silver quail roos and a blue quail roo as well as several hens in both colors. I have 1 black hen and one self blue roo too. We should do an egg trade in the spring!!

For now, you can breed your lavender and black together. You'll get all blacks split to lavender the first time, Take them back to the lavender next year, and you'll get 50% each, just incase you didnt know, that way, at least you can get some good out of the eggs this year....

Boggy you are just trying to make us all jealous!Lol Its working! I can't wait till spring to order eggs from you!Anxious to see pics of the other colors you have. The milles are going to be my favorites. I have belgian quail color now.

Just love talking about them, and love to get more people interested in getting them too, which , yeah I guess could be considered PIMPPING them out!!

I'm working on pics too. Been trying to get everything cleaned up around here so I can take some nice ones to really show them off. But every time, I get close, we get 5 more inces of stinking rain. I think we are at about a foot so far for the month already, kind of hard to get some pretty ones in the mud!! I promise I 'll get them on here even before they hit our website, (which is another thing I've got to work on and get up dated!) Whew tons of work before spring!!!

HA, I love it! Great to hear of young folks that are into birds, not many want to play with them any more if they arent computerized, LOL...
Get some pens built! 20 below sounds like excellent weather for it,....Glad we dont have that problem, whew that's cold..
I just got all the pens cleaned back up today after the last round of rain yesterday. Plan to get up some more pics tomorrow, some of the boys are still getting over their fall molt, but most are in fair picutre taking condition, so hope to have some more up soon.
Tell him no rush, it'll be March or so before I have any to start cutting loose anyway, plenty of time to get 'em a pen ready....

My kids are being the same way. Every time they see me on BYC they ask if I'm ordering thier "mini" chickens. We only have LF right now so any banty is going to look like a miniture. They are very excited about getting D'anvers.
