Two 8 week old pullets that are both 3/4 d'Anver, 1/8 silkie and 1/8 japanese bantam. One is Brown Red colored, the other is Lemon blue colored and both look very much like d'Anvers (no crests or feathered feet or anything). Local pick-up preferred and shipping charges will not apply if they are picked up locally - in other words if you pick them up they are free for the taking.
Should be great mothers - other chicks from the generation before were excellent mothers. Mother(s) are excellent layers of small bantam eggs. Hen raised but mostly friendly - used to being picked up and put outside, not overly flighty. Will eat out of my hand. Sweet little chicks but I only want to keep the crested ones. They do not seem to need additional heat supplementation anymore.
