Hi, Is the second female one of the two way crosses ? I like the type on the female. If you plan on showing try and keep the light bottom color. Really nice females.

Oh, is that the Belgian site? I had a little trouble navigating the site, not sure why but I finally got in to see the pictures page

I'm browsing through them now

OMG the wheaten roosters on that page are gorgeous. I don't think I've seen a blue wheaten rooster before.

Yes! I have been looking for plans that I can actually understand for the trap nests and I think I may figure them out. Thank you so much!

thanks for your help , i thought the light color would be better ,i have never shown or been to a show that had more than 6 marans and never wheaten ...the light bottem hen is not a cross she is stright davis but i dont know that all the breeding produces light bottem hens when i use davis hen and roo .... i should of kept better records on my first gen i would like to try a show next year so any thoughts from people on proposed standard for wheatens and showing is always welcome ,the geen pool i am working with was small lol only 4 birds but now i have around 10 hens that are laying and 10 roo that i kept i rehomed another bunch of roo and hens at a swap.10 hens is a number i can work with in the space i have .my grow out pen holds at least 10 for replacement/improvement. so what i have is small compared to others ... a show would be fun

Hey, you wana fly out to California and build me a coop? I need a ventilated, insulated Rooster room for noise reduction and a Hen Hotel.

i would love to get into the chicken coop buisness The remodeling business has changed for the worse in many ways ,,, 30+years being a carpenter
and I am getting tired of tall ladders and the dangers of job site ,I think the chicken coop jobs would be saver, closer to the ground except for the plane ride to your house , I don’t like to fly …. I am not afraid of heights just a crash

Berkelysprings: What are you doing up at this hour... It isn't even 4 a.m. in the PNW...

sound like a good business to be into... Coop remodeling.. I hope that works out... My husband is also a carpenter. He likes to make cabinets and such. He is also an electrician by trade here and is up and down ladders all day... It is so hard on the arches on his feet.... I have to rub them out for him at night... 62 1/2 is so far away yet for him.. DRAT... I wish he could just retire and watch the chickens with me. I am only a state away from DROM
