geebs, did you get the crazy monsoons we got last night? I know we got at LEAST 6 inches of rain this weekend. . . . It was HORRIBLE last night.

btw lovely fart egg. My most perfect egg is also a fart egg.

- It's round as a marble, quite dark (but not my darkest) and very shiny.

I WAS pining for my dark eggers to start laying.............NOW I'm pining for dark eggs AND Drom's above recipe!!!
Think I'll go cook some chicken while I wait!!

Chicken cacciatore tonight...........perhaps roasted chicken in the clay pot tomorrow evening??

No Illia... We had that last week... I was outfitting my chickens for Water wings...I am afraid you take the brunt of the storms in your local... Let me know if I need to bring my boat up and .... save your chickens.... oh and you too!!! lol

They are still a little bit wimpy-sized, but they will start to get bigger in the next month or so. They have only been laying for a few weeks.
I don't know what to think about the splotchy eggs.

Hopefully they will start coating their eggs a little more evenly as they lay more.
