Dark Egg Breeds Thread

My fat little butterballs seem fine with the cold so far.... I will know how they fair better in spring though..

I did get a few eggs today. Miss Olive, my one and only Olive Egger, is a year old now, and still lays the darkest Olive egg (top left corner). She came from Wynette's eggs, and is a beautiful blue girl. My youngest Marans are still not laying. White eggs here are Icelandics.

Okay I don't have any dark eggs to submit today so I am going to submit this picture of good eye color on my favorite pullet....
