So Dawg. New guy was gonna be in at 8 this morning.
That's a way late start for me so I showed up at 7. You know to get stuff situated and in case he's one of those that will show up 30 minutes early every time.
8:30 still no new guy. Text boss he text him. Guy says he can't make it today when shall he try again......... um never.
People just don't want to work around here.

You would think if someone wanted a job they would be sure to make it their first day. That’s ridiculous.

Apparently he didn't really want a job I suspect.
Wonder if it was one of those cases where his wife was pushing him into getting a job when he didn't really want ones. We've had a couple of those.
 
Not now days, not here anyways.
We also hire teens for evening shifts. Nothing to it. Feed, water, sweep basically. Most only work one or two nights a week and I swear they call in more often then they work.
My bosses new motto is a bad employee is better then no employee. My answer is.... but is that really the only options? Apparently so.
