New work update. Brother and sister duo called in Friday and didn't work. 4 missed days out of 8.
Boss was steaming asked them to come in for a quick chat as soon as they could make the time. Don't know what their excuse for missing was.
They didn't show up for the chat until today. He was pretty much gonna let them go. The brother quickly ratted the sister out for making up the excuse because she just didn't feel like coming in and she was his ride so....
He wanted to keep his job. Boss asked how he expected to get back and forth. He called his mother and she agreed she could drop him off on her way to work and come pick him up on her lunch break.
Boss agreed to give him the chance but with the condition he will now work on Tuesdays and Thursdays with me and if I say he's doing good he can continue. If or when I say he's not working out he's gone no more chances.
Different new guy set up to start tomorrow and work my days off with the others.

Oh wow this situation is wild!!!
 
All my chores are done for the day except for closing the coop doors as soon as they all get on their roosting spots. l can relax now until it gets dark.
