You don't need to leave for weeks and months. Just set yourself a time limit for online stuff and try to make yourself stick it.
It is actually bad for depression to spend TOO much time online.
This is all a good idea, thanks. But I think an hour would be way too little for me to start but I could definitely reduce it quite a bit.This is true. I know that I have been online so much lately that I can feel my mental health deteriorating quicker than the Flash can finish a piece of toast. Online=horrible feelings of isolation, self-hatred, and anger. @ShrekDawg If you are feeling down, then do not be online for more than a few minutes each day until you are feeling perky. Then limit screen time to one hour or so each day. It helps a lot.![]()
