I know it’s mad early for this but it’s been an extremely mild winter and I’m bored soooo…

If nothing comes of it, nothing comes of it, but I figured I’d give it a shot hahah

I’m also experimenting with not using a heating pad this time and seeing what happens but I might cave and get one. I used to have one or two but I think I got rid of all my gardening stuff when we moved.

Oh well.

I figure no heat pad and being slightly colder might make hardier plants???? It’s just an experiment though. Mostly because I don’t have one. but also curiosity.

@oldhenlikesdogs @Overo Mare might possibly be interested in this experiment? mostly because I’m going to make @Overo Mare pepper poppers with the little ones!!

If they grow anyway… that’s the plan.

I do have store bought ones I’m going to use to learn, first lol

But yeah.

We are going to the movies tonight.

I ended up ordering a heat mat. but I’m still gonna do the experiment and grow these ones without it. But I’ve got a big tray I’m gonna use with the heat mat. And then I’m gonna do one or two trays without one too and see if the lid helps keep it a little warmer.

I’m hoping to grow lots and lots of peppers this year. last year we had tons of volunteer tomatoes and only one pepper plant we bought but this year I’m hoping for the opposite… lots of peppers and less tomatoes.
