Don't move to any Great Lakes states if you hate snowI was considering like PA, OH, etc. but I HATE WINTER. and they get it BAD there lol
Yeah that’s why I’m reconsidering I have family out that way so I wanted to be close to them but they get A LOT of snow and I don’t think I want to deal with that. I went to school out there briefly and it was so bad hahahDon't move to any Great Lakes states if you hate snow
That’s good to know! Thanks! With a decent greenhouse set up, you could probably get away with growing year round.
Yeah, and massive. Think about how much row space you need for most crops. Peppers and tomatoes could be doableIt would probably have to be heated I assume?
Very true!! Especially corn or cucumber or something like that. Unless I put the cucumbers up on a trellis so they took up less room. But squash and all that takes tons of space too.Yeah, and massive. Think about how much row space you need for most crops. Peppers and tomatoes could be doable
You won't be able to grow corn inside. Corn is a wind pollinated plant. Meaning, it needs the wind to blow through the stalks to pollinate it, so that ears grow. And if you grow squash, you have to hand pollinate itVery true!! Especially corn or cucumber or something like that. Unless I put the cucumbers up on a trellis so they took up less room.
