Does anybody know of any good dishes that don’t burn the out of your hands after microwaving and that won’t break the bank? I just got burnt bad and I’m so sick of it.

I've been thinking about your hot plate situation, and I cannot honestly say that I've ever found one that doesn't get hot. I just always make sure that I have something to grad ahold of it with.

Mileage will vary. I have an old set that does get hot. And some newer pieces that only get warm. Read descriptions and reviews of each "model" line.

How did ya like attatching the million zip ties?

corelle will be hot on the bottom where the food is but not so much around the edge or like the handle of a coffee mug.
My mom always had corelle and i got a set when i first left home.
A few years later i found a stoneware dish set i thought was beautiful and bought those. HOLY
I was unaware. I never knew a plate could get that hot. Plus since microwaves often heat unevenly you touch one place and think its fine.. grab another place and get a 3rd degree burn.
I used those dishes for a coupke years, went back to corelle and will never change again.

Yeah it’s amazing how hot a plate can get after only a few minutes or sometimes just one minute. It’s crazy!! I’ll look into the corelle ones. Thanks!

The pen was a bit more of a chore than I was looking for, lol . I do think that the worst part were those zip ties, tho. I still have more to attach and a lot of trimming to do. I do like the pen, tho, and so do my girls. A lot more room than their last run.

For what it cost i can't complain. I figure if a racoon ever decides it wants in I'll be in trouble. It ain't gonna be very predator proof.
