There was a time when candy bars were a nickel and so were coca colas out of those old fashioned red vending machines. Then one day the price went up to 6¢. Then not long after that to a dime. And now they must be $2. Hamburger was 29¢ a pound instead of $4.29 a pound. When will it stop? When we lose the dollar as the world's currency of choice. I really doubt it will ever stop. People in power don't care about us that aren't filthy rich as long as they are getting their pockets lined. Excuse the rant but I get wound up tight after having seen what has happened over the last 70+ years to this land of working people.
At most stores here a soda is close to $3 now 😭 there’s only 2 near me where it’s still under $2 and one is the dollar store. The other is like a discount type place that has a fridge for drinks lol And it’s okay, I get it.

It's hat today but not as hot as it was yesterday. It is summer and it's been hot in summer as long as I can remember. I'd really like the highs to stay between 68° and 78° year round.
