My phone is apparently having issues with the SIM card.

It will pop up saying No SIM and I click okay. Then immediately after that it pops up saying SIM Failure. I click okay AGAIN. Then it goes into SOS mode then. Then a minute or so later, data is back. This has happened twice so far.

What phone is it?

Try removing the physical SIM card if it has one. Should be the little thingy with a hole on the side. Turn it on and off. If it's got updates, try applying them.
