Today was garbage pickup at my house, a cold. wet, foggy day. I made treat bags for the two people on the truck since I made cookies the other day.

I gave 2 dozen eggs to a neighbour today.

Kiddo and I just got done making up some kindness rocks. I sent him and hubby off to lay them in findable places. I'm smiling just thinking of what people might think when they find them. Everything from "What the heck" to "Awesome" I hope.

I stuffed some portabello mushrooms for hubby (I HATE MUSHROOMS) and am making omelets for everyone. I don't cook much so everyone is happy and in a good mood. I had to swallow the words, "I refuse to cook until the kitchen is clean." After I decided not to say it, I didn't care. How neat is that?

Well I inadvertently made my boss's sister happy. She is going through treatments for breast cancer right now, and my boss has lunch with her once a week. From time to time I join them. Today I did, and during the lunch my boss was telling us what she was fixing for Super Bowl. I commented, joking "I'll be there". When we were getting ready to leave, her sister said "I would love to see you there. You make me smile, and I need smiles right now".

Small as it may be, that is my contribution today.

She wanted to try it to see if she liked it as well as hers. Well... she asked for the recipe, so I guess so!!!!
