Do you have anymore MF Cochins? I only have one doing good as of tonight, also anymore bantam Favorelles? Just a few of each.... Let me know

I candled all eight eggs under my broody with my maglite. All except one have obvious veining. One of Delilah's, I can't really tell, but the yolk area seems larger and darker. Glenda is doing great with her first-time broody period. Hope all mine make it all the way through for you, Karen.

My cochins havent picked up quite yet I am getting 4-5 eggs a week from them and I only had a trio of the bantam Faverolles and one of the hens decided she wanted to visit the chicken God yesterday So now I only have a pair Time to look for replacement Dont have an abundance of either right now But will let you know when things pick up PM me if you want to do something with the cochins

That is the way Delilahs eggs look to me, so crossing my fingers on them. Her shells seem "thicker" ? so kind of hard to tell, the rest candled really good.

Don goes out and waters the juveniles in the barn last night

That in itself was a surprise.

Anyway, he comes in and says, I just think I will put chicken wire up on the top sides of that stall and just make it one big coop. I am like

he said well with all the eggs in the bator you are gonna need the room

Actually I need the stall back, will have to build a grow out coop outside and get over my overprotectiveness.......
