day 17 of quail egg incubation but still no hatches.

I've got 15 eggs in my incubator but none have hatched yet and I candled some eggs and they are growing fine. why haven't they hatched yet?

I've kept them at 99.5 the whole time.

Thermometers and thermostats on incubators are notoriously inaccurate.
Have you done several successful hatches in the same incubator with the same thermometers? If you have, maybe the eggs were old. Otherwise the temp was low.

I had a thermometer in the incubator it was about at 80.0 the whole time but I thout it was broken...will they still hatch?

I'm not sure but I hatch Coturnix and never had one hatch on day 17.

Mine always started pipping on day 18 and usually hatch that day too

Have you noticed the eggs rocking at all?

No problem!

As long as you've been keeping check on their growth and temp/humidity is alright then I wouldn't worry just yet.

Even day 19 is what I'd still class as a normal hatching day for quail (well, Coturnix at least I'm unsure on Buttons).

You'll probably notice some movement in them tomorrow
