Day 19 and no signs of movement even after seeing veins prior to lockdown... HELP!!!

Don't worry about the egg getting cold.
Get a clear look although it probably isn't going to make a difference at this point.

I just want you to look so you can be sure of what you are seeing.

Pay attention to the shadow you're seeing in the air cell and see if it is moving when you move the egg.

Wiggle the egg a little bit or rotate it and see if whatever you see in the air cell moves along with your movement.

The pip still isn't any bigger. I am hoping it really is a pip and not just a crack made on accident, or just part of the shell. Wish me luck x

It was in the air sac, the fat end. However, I cant be sure it really moved. I will try to post a video the next few minutes. I hope I don't kill it by constantly opening the incubator!

When you are candling the egg and seeing movement in the air cell are you seeing the movement on its own... While you are being still or are you seeing movement while you are moving the egg.

I know this is not a very clear question for someone that has not incubated before but if it were a live chick inside the egg you would see movement on its own.
If the movement you are seeing is only when you wiggle the egg then that is not a good sign.

I can tell if it is a pip or if it is a crack.
Can you get a clear picture of the crack area?

Yes. Totally normal. for dead scrambled eggs.

Say 21!? Triple check your temp/thermometer. Hopefully more will hatch. Did you see anything in the other eggs?
