I'm peep peep peeping and they seem to be sleep sleep sleeping! Oh this is the hardest time of the hatch for me the last couple days. Come on babies.

I peep and tap on the window and peep some more, till I'm too pooped to peep, LOL. It does seem to work to encourage them to try to break free.

while waiting for mine, I would call "come on chickie chickie"
and it seemed to work -- the egg would go to rocking.

And yes, I was looking with a flashlight the whole time!!

well if peeping makes them come quicker than they should already be out! i have two little one week old cochin chicks in a brooder right beside the incubator! and they sure cheep a lot

I"m still waiting. But the doorbell is ringing like crazy from trick or treaters and the fireworks are about to start so i'll have to check on them later

Just checking in? Nothing yet. Dang. I was hoping to hear good news this morning. I moved my first batch to the hatcher last night and this morning when I was checking temps and humidity, I swear I heard a tiny peep peep. It is way too early so I am not going to encourage him. I hope he stays long enough to absorbe the yolk. Dang cheap bator. I had what I thought were low temps at first and then things have been fine. But I guess this little one is in a hurry to see mommy!!!!!! Good luck. Keep us posted.

Was wondering how yours were doing? I seen two quail eggs wiggling this morning. But everyone else is quite.

nothing yet not a pip or even wiggling

maybe some peeping but its hard to tell with the older chicks making a racket.

my temps and humidity have been perfect I candled on day 18 and saw nice aircells and the chicks filled up the eggs except on one where it was a bit smaller well i'm hoping for something today technically day 21 doesn't start till 2 this afternoon so i'm not worrying yet (lol who am I kidding I've been worry ing since I put them in the bator)
