Day 20 need reassurance

They will be fine, try not to worry, I have had hens that have left the nest for 30-40 mins, I totally get the anxiety 😅 I’ve been hatching for yrs and still have a breakdown around hatching time 😂
 
So today is 21. So far we have 10 out. We have five working on it and three that haven't pipped yet. All three of my question mark eggs have done nothing lol
 
I have 14 now. One piped thru the side yesterday and had just been sitting for the longest time. Looks like last night it started to unzip and got less than an inch done but there was dried yolk all dripped out. It's not moving or breathing so I think it passed. Still have three that haven't done anything in there too. What's up with the yolk?

Congratulations on your new chicks :wee:ya can you post a pic of the egg and the yolk?
 
Yeah it's still in there. Starting to look pretty dry out now. You can't really see the yolk. You can only see through the little hole it made. But there's yoke all over the place coming from that hole.
 
I know it's not the greatest picture but it's through the incubator lid

I'm fairly sure it has. If I use the flashlight I can see it's beak and enough of it to see there is no movement whatsoever and hasn't been since I got up this morning. It was still alive and looked like it was going to finally start working on things when I went to bed at 4:00

I wonder if it hit the yolk and drowned itself 🤷‍♀️ I would have to open it and have a look :oops: the curiosity would get the better off me 🤣
Are you going to try the water candling on the others? Just make sure they haven’t pipped.
