Day 20.

That is tough. Opening the incubator is out of the question, you'll lose the humidity you have. So, adding more water is the only thing you can do. Are your water reservoir full already? Are your air vents open? How dry is the air in the spare room/house? How certain are you about the accuracy of your humidity reading? Did you check it before starting your eggs?
Its feels pretty humid in the room, and i have none of the air vents open, do i need to open them?

Yes, open them. The humidity will fluctuate, but don’t panic. It will settle back in. Actually, I think vents should always be fully open from day one.

And for the record, I open my incubator all thru hatching and still have good results. Shrink wrapping is not immediate, as long as you keep an eye on the humidity and do what you need to do, quickly.
But I’m also a hands-on assister. I hatch breeds that often need assistance, so it’s all in the technique.

There are arguments on both sides and I’m not trying to start an argument or disagree with anyone, just stating my position.

So you think i should go ahead and help? Or give it a little more time?

As far as assisting, you said you woke up to pips, so I wouldn’t assist until morning, if they don’t hatch overnight.

Unless... the pips/membrane turns brown, and activity lessens. If you can’t get response by pecking the window, then they “could” need help, but hold off as long as possible.

The membrane is whats directly under the shell, right? May be a silly question, but its turning a yellowish color not sure if thats normal. I'm almost positive one will or should be hatched by morning. Not sure about the others yet.
