This is my first ever hatch, only one fertile chick egg out of 4. I’m not seeing any Pips yet or hearing any chirping. The chick did seem to be very active as it has turned the egg itself almost completely around with all the wiggling inside the day prior. I am doing dry incubation so no humidity was added till lockdown which was day 18 . I placed the eggs March 26th around 7pm it is now April 16th 10:43am and nothin. the humidity was running a little low so i opened the incubator just a crack super quicklyto bump up that humidity. Temps show to be running at 37.5, will that cause a delayed hatch? did i mess up my hatch opening the bator? HELP!!!:barnie

What was your humidity and temperature for the whole thing?
running a little cool might slow down the hatch a bit but not hurt the chicks and despite what you read online, opening the lid doesn't hurt the eggs. *unless you left it off while you made a sandwich or a long period of time.

Definitely was just a quick opening! And Temp stayed around 37.5C throughout the entire incubation process. I’m unaware of the exact humidity percentage as I forgot to purchase a hydrometer…:he very dumb on my part I know, I did fill all water trays though

As long as the eggs is rocking and rolling, I wouldn't worry too much. You can candle if you want to get a better idea on the progress.
