Day 21 - Ohmy!!

I just love this site... I love reading everyone's stories, seeing your pictures & getting advice. I have 5 out of 11 eggs hatched so far (today is day 21), and I don't know that I would've gotten this far with these chicks without everyone's advice and experience here.

Wow must say congratulations on your roo then Sally! And yeah pretty large one O_O Probably almost the same size as my icelandic a week old LOL

LOL I dont send but you can always pick them up! I am so thrilled! He is our second cochin to hatch from our stock! We have one black hen and a blue hen and only blackbetty is laying, but all her eggs are fertile and two blues to start from a blue roo over black gal Rocks!! I cant wait until I get enough so I can send out hatching eggs!! Silkies started a few months ago and we hatched our first, she is a light blue so I assume she will be splash! so lovely those grey blue colors!!

Chick is doing very well, and very glad you asked cause just 15 minutes ago THE EGG HATCHED!!!!!!!!!!!! ))) And I got it on video

In a few moments I'll post the video on youtube and link it, and show some pictures! - BTW the chick is huge, almost the same size as the week old chick, so I believe I have gotten myself a couple 8D If it is a roo

I am just jumping into this conversation as I have 12 eggs in the bator and today is day 21. No pips yet and I am worried. When I put them in lock down most of the eggs looked filled and developed. High anxiety time.
