My Orpington egg is on Day 22. When I candled this morning,it was moving but no chirp and no pip so far. Should I make a hole to help it get air ?

Which end of the egg would you make the hole ?
Where the air sac is. But if she is chirping, she needs a hole. You said she isn’t chirping yet? So maybe she’s just late. I have some chicks that just take longer to absorb the egg yolk. Especially if the temp is on the lower side.

from what I understand you don't want to do a safety hole unless you are sure they have been internally pipped for 24 hrs........ you should hear cheeping if they have internally pipped.......

Has baby internal pip yet ?
If not it could be just a late hatcher or be at the wrong end
With white duck eggs I can see bruising if baby is trying at wrong end
Not sure how one would see with darker chicken eggs
You could also listen and see if you hear scratching like it’s trying to break the shell anywhere
I agree read the link provided before starting any assistance
