day 22 of hatch

Well...Today is day 22 and nothing no peeping, no pipping, no rocking. These are very dark maran eggs so I can not candle them. Should I remove on egg and crack it open to see what is going on?

Nope!

Just wait another day or two! You don't want to open the bator,and if the egg you choose is a live chick you will feel awful! Sometimes it takes a little longer or we were off on counting. I have runner ducks hatching right now, and I did not expect them until Monday! I was off somewhere!!LOL Good luck! Step away from the bator!!

Well I crack the nine eggs open and only one had developed. The other 8 where not fertile. The one egg looked like it made it to maybe day 17 or 18?
