Day 24 And no pipping. Chick seems to be alive.. What should I do? What should I look for?

If you dont mind me asking, what is the food? Chick starter or waterfowl starter or?
If it is chick starter you'll need to supplement niacin
I was just about to make a thread asking what food I should get because what I have wont be good enough. My parents think they could live off what they raised their animals off of and yeah that's not gonna work. Did my research. What do you suggest for food please.

Where did you get these duck eggs from? I’m confused how they are at different stages of development and you don’t know how many days they have been incubated.
So basically I work at a ranch and They don't want more chicks because every year we get infested with them. We have mostly Muscovy's that just mix with the basic duck. Anyways the reason they are at different stages of development is because they where from different clutches. Some where a day old and some where older. I haven't been to the ranch in a while since then yeah

I haven’t hatched duck eggs before, but if you see a lot of movement and/or a large vein tossing around then it’s still relatively small. Otherwise then it’s in the later stages

It’s great if the beak is near the air cell! Hopefully the tissue doesn’t require a specific humidity in order for him to puncture it (in that case maybe raising the humidity with a little cap of water may help). But anyways it’s good news he’s where he’s supposed to be. Once theres internal pipping, you’ve only got a little while left (at least with chickens). They just need to absorb the yolk and all that blood in those veins
Ayo thanks for the water cap tip, it helped alot. Somebody may have started to pip. You are a life saver bro.

I used unmedicated chick starter supplemented 1 tbsp of nutritious yeast to 1 cup of crumb.
But duckling food would work best if you can access it- As it's the balance of nutrients that they really need, especially niacin. What is the food you have now?

so you took them once they started developing? Hence the different dates?
Yep, exactly. Although I have a few that have just started and I am able to pin down their ages. Three out of the clutch are on day 2 right now. One on day 3. The other could be a few days from hatching.

The food we have now is a mixture of ingrediants as my mother used to make her own for her chicks and ducks using corn meal. But I don't trust it much any more.

By the way any tips for lockdown? I want to check on the humidity levels of the little guy but I already candled it yesterday So I should leave it alone for a few days/
