Day 24 And no pipping. Chick seems to be alive.. What should I do? What should I look for?

Good wishes for a successful hatch of your egg. It’s great to know that you now have an incubator. Attempting to incubate without one must have been worrysome for you. Pay special attention to temperature, humidity, and turning…. if you have to do so manually). Now, you can let it do the incubating, and you can enjoy all of the peeping teeny balls of fluff!

Thank you!! I still have to wait till Wednesday for them to get here but hopefully the eggs will do okay till then!!

these where all taken right now, sorry for bad quality aa.

The egg is dead if it’s 24 days old and looks like that. It has no veins and no darkness being sucked into one side with the air cell adjacent. One way to tell if your egg is a quitter is if there’s a dark mass stuck to one side. That’s a dead guy. Also, embryos move a good amount, kicking and jumping all over the place. Though really what you’re looking for at day 24 is pure blackness with visible veins adjacent to the air cell

Here are finally some candling pictures! The first one is about a day or two old so we won't see anything much. The second/third one Is the one I think quit. It is dark in there but theres a bunch of just bruise splotches e v e r y w h e r e. And the fourth/fith looks real good!! I just don't know if its on day 30 or older. Either way I see it's food and beak in proper position.

Yeah ik bro
Sorry, not trying to upset. Best of luck in your future hatches. I just barely hatched one out of nine really expensive eggs cause I didn’t know squat about incubating. Though I think through experience I miiiiiight do better this next time. Experience helps with everything in the world
