Day 24 And no pipping. Chick seems to be alive.. What should I do? What should I look for?

Sorry, not trying to upset. Best of luck in your future hatches. I just barely hatched one out of nine really expensive eggs cause I didn’t know squat about incubating. Though I think through experience I miiiiiight do better this next time. Experience helps with everything in the world
Nono you didn't upset me! I was tryna reply qucik because im rushing around this morning haha. Best of luck to your next hatch aaa

Also some stuff that killed my birds:
- high humidity (70-80% at times) because my styrofoam incubator is terrible.
- putting my eggs on their tip in the rotater made them develop away from the air cell
- low humidity (45-50%) and high temp (101 F) during the hatching days as to rectify my mistakes, but only making more! Lol poor guys

I used these photos as reference during the hatch:

(Blood rings, lack of veins, and unmoving dark spots signal death)

And this link once I knew they were developing, and this one overall. Though I’m still learning!

If you want we can troubleshoot together sometime, hit me up if you want to :)

Bro I'd be more than happy to rn. Im still waiting on my incubator but i have a duck egg thats a few days if not less than being ready. I didn't know what to do for humidity so I put them in my shirt, and there on my heating pad till my incubator gets here. Youll see in my posts above some pictures of the clutch ^^

Totally, I tried doing something like that a while back. Based on my wacky experience I’m trying to keep these current two batches at a low humidity and high temp in the beginning. Just so that I build up that air cell as much as I can, then go humid on the last 3 days as to prevent shrink wrapping. So I wouldn’t worry about humidity too much with that set up, but maybe a little cap full of water nearby that’s covered up with them. I turn my eggs by hand every 2-3 hours and try to keep ‘em developing near the air cell

Ooh okay thanks for the tip!! What about this little guy? He looks about ready but I'm not sure how far along he is. The beak is near the aircell and the foot is on it's stomach. Idk how much longer it will be before it starts pipping

I haven’t hatched duck eggs before, but if you see a lot of movement and/or a large vein tossing around then it’s still relatively small. Otherwise then it’s in the later stages

It’s great if the beak is near the air cell! Hopefully the tissue doesn’t require a specific humidity in order for him to puncture it (in that case maybe raising the humidity with a little cap of water may help). But anyways it’s good news he’s where he’s supposed to be. Once theres internal pipping, you’ve only got a little while left (at least with chickens). They just need to absorb the yolk and all that blood in those veins

This is severely under developed for day 30.
What kind of egg did you say it was?

If you don't have the right temp, you could end up with a delayed hatch, if its too far off the baby can grow with deformities.
I don't mean to sound harsh, I know you're trying hard for them.
What is your plan if they hatch? Do you have space for them? Food? A brooder with a heat lamp or brood plate?

Actually I don't know how old that one is. I'm just assuming it's on day 30
