Hello,
This is the first year that our momma Goose has fertile eggs. We are now day 31 and still no goslings hatched. On day 29 I saw a little one moving in the egg while candling and it looked like it internal pipped. But still nothing to see. On day 26 we found a dead gosling in the nest and took it away. Momma left her nest 1 time in now 8 days. I'm getting worried.. Can someone give me more information? Thank you.

Goslings can take up to 32 days to hatch, so they're not technically overdue yet. Will your goose let you candle the eggs to check if they are still alive?

We do it when she goes to eat. She doesn't mind then. Anyway, I just candled and thank god, I saw movement in all of them. One is with it's head on the top. It's the first time that we saw movement in all of them.

UPDATE::

We just got to candle them and all of them have movement. We can see the beak and they love to show off. One's head is already to the top. Thank you to those who helped me. Now we just have to wait till they hatch.

UPDATE:: 7 hatched. One more to go. She's one hell of a mama! So proud. She showed us her 7th gosling coming out of the egg.

Final UPDATE:: 7 out of 8 eggs have hatched. We have 7 beautiful gosling. Sadly, the 8th one died on his way out. Momma and daddy love them. They took their first family trip together today on our property.
