It’s just not fair for the ducklings. They can still have a relationship with your son. It will be good to teach him how to care for them and treat them with kindness. There can still be a plus for all.

Put something in the brooder to separate the Cayuga from the other two but where they can still share heat and see each other.

I had a piece of hardware clothe I edged with gorilla tape when I was putting hatched Runners in with 3 week old Runners it made a good divider.
