Day 6 candling

the air cell is very small, not at all how the egg should look, my guess is that she passed on day 18 or 19-
I cant see any veins, or movement, do you see anything in person? I think the chick has unfortunately passed, but if you dont feel certain, or think you can see veins in person, water-candling again, looking for any movement, will rule out any chance of her being alive still. You could also open the egg, if you have the stomach for it. I remove some of the shell over the air cell, and check to ensure the chick has definitely gone before disposing of them, gives me peace of mind. It can also help to tell what went wrong with the chick. It's up to you

if you can see veins, I would wait longer, it cant hurt to give it another day or two.
What day is it on now?
Whenever I do an eggtopsy (thats what people call it) I approach it as though doing an assisted hatch, incase the chick is alive. I follow this article Assisted hatching article

But don't attempt this if you see veins, give it a bit longer. If by any chance she is still alive, she is not ready to hatch- based on how much space there is in the egg and how small the air cell is.

pictures are fine, may be able to guess what day it quit on, which might help narrow reasons why. But only do it if you're confident there are no veins or movements!

So unfortunately the chick had passed.... the yolk wasn't full absorbed....
