Day by day growth

Ack! So sorry I forgot to update this sooner. This picture(s) were from when she was 8 weeks old. (3 days ago)

So that means, currently, she is 56 days old in the picture, and about 60 days old today! (I picked her up from a farm and feed so let’s just assume she was a few days old at that point)

And I forgot to post the pictures. Here they are!

She's awesome!!

Can someone please help me. Im thinking of even creating a thread on this. Like in that picture she's just sitting with you peacefully. Ive raised multiple batched of chicks and some ducklings but they just are never these sweet little things everyone talks about. I just dream of having some like that. Some that like to be pet and held. Ive tried different methods like side opening brooders on tables, holding them a lot vs not at all so they never get scared of me, nothing seems to work. They are always just freaked out by me. Am I doing something wrong? I mean I give them food and water and try to never move fast or make scary noises around them. Its weird.

I hold them every day, and only for a few minutes. I’m sorry that they don’t seem to sweet... Safaia Is a little skittish sometimes, but I try my best to hold her. She was one of the sweetest ones so that’s why I took pictures of her daily. Some of the others are way more skittish, and I can barely catch them. Good luck! I wish all chicks were super sweet.

Ah! Sorry I haven’t been updating. Here’s a picture from today, I think 74 days old? (10 weeks, 4 days I think)
