Dead poult

I brought home two broad breasted poults this morning, once they got home the smaller one randomly started not being able to walk became paralyzed and passed about 20 minutes later. On the way home it wasn't cold with a temp of about 85F and the drive was only 20 minutes. I set up the heat lamp with 30% protein gamebirds feed and gave them water. I was thinking mareks but that's apparently rare in turkeys.

Is it possible it could be a sickness that could spread to the ducks and harm them? The poults were about an acre away with no contact but still worried.

Hmm, that happened to mine to I think he was just cold because its heat lamp went out, except he didn’t die. Sorry about your Turk passing.
