I agree that store eggs are nasty things.

I did a "blind taste test" with my kids some time ago. I borrowed a store egg from my Uncle (who doesn't care where his eggs come from) and I scrambled it and one of ours. I had them taste both without looking (the color was a dead giveaway) and all three could easily pick which was our egg.

Yes, even though the battery chickens get fed good and all, part mof why our eggs are better is the freshness. Of course getting grass & bugs and stuff helps a heap, too.
