Deathlayer x RIR

Let me start by saying I’m only one year in with chickens. I’m not looking to breed for any specific traits or SOP. I have a Silver Deathlayer rooster and RIR hens. I lost a couple hens to an owl over the winter and want to build the flock up a little (I only have three hens now), so I incubated 10 eggs. They hatched yesterday (8 of the 10!), and I’m just curious what they may look like as they get older. I used the calculator at http://kippenjungle.nl/, but I’m not sure how to properly put in the Deathlayer to see results.
Has anyone else here bred this combo before?

Thanks! That's the same result I got- I just wasn't sure if I had the Deathlayer in there correctly. I don't really know the correct terms.

Color Genetics of the Death Layer is correct.

We're in the same situation, this is my first time breeding chickens.

The mother is a Red sex-link and the father is a Silver Deathlayer. I'm trying to landrace these chickens a little bit. The mother is super smart and a great forager (2nd to the Deathlayer), hopefully the chicks reflect that.
