Just button quail this time. Next year we’re going to try grocery store eggs (duck, chicken, quail).

Yes, they are all fertile even with my one GLW that's laying. I've already placed some SFH eggs and one GLW egg in the incubator. The GLW egg is out of curiosity of how it will look, I'll probably end up culling it if it looks weird.

She's beautiful. What eggs did you use? Does she lay white or brown eggs? She looks like a White Rock or heavy Leghorn. I'm going to try hatching from some Trader Joe's eggs next year.

What stores sell fertile duck eggs?

I’m going to try a couple of local Asian grocery stores (Sang Chong and 88 Market). They probably won’t be fertile, but it will be interesting to try.

Oh, I never would have thought they would even carry fertile eggs of anything. Can you report back and let me know, I'm definitely curious about it.
