December Hatch-A-Long 2014

Good luck to everyone with pips!! I hope your babies make it out healthy and without trouble!!

I can't wait for this week to be over so I can do my second candling, having an incubator with a turner and a solid thermostat has made this a lot more enjoyable for me so far. I'm sad my broody hen didn't have many developing under her, but she'll get her chance to try again come spring.

Turns out I got a stargazer...I posted a thread in the emergency forum but curious if any of you have dealt with this before. I got 2-3 drops of 50/50 water and Poly-Vi-Sol down his throat and I want to try again before I head to bed but I have no idea how much to give him or if I even need to dilute it anywhere. I'm totally winging it and it's freaking me out a little. I gave it to my daughter as a baby but she weighed like 80 times this little guy! Even if you haven't directly dealt with it, thoughts? Prayers? Anything?

I had a sick/weak chick and I gave him 2 or 3 drops...whatever he would drink. After about 3 days he got better. He wasn't a "stargazer" though. Sending healing thoughts your way.

I woke up to a pip right above the air cell line. It's not breathing or anything. Why could it of died? I'm not opening the Bator unless it starts to smell, or maybe it's not dead?
