Awww cutiess!

Tomorrow is the big day here if these chicks follow the calendar(but it isn't in view of the 'bator so who knows). Good thing I have to go to work or I'd be hovering the whole day haha

I would wait at least 2 more days then check again and see what you can see. Veins aren't airways visible by day 3.
Thanks @Auroradream26 , I'm being careful to not do candling while they are only a few days old, but I have to take the lid off to turn them, so I may as well shine the light on them right?

Congratulations @tequl , how did you learn to vent sex? Was it hard?
What breed of chicks did you hatch?
Ooh, I am also curious about vent sexing! I heard you need to train for a long time and even then it is very hard. Is this true or just a rural legend? ;)

We hatched bcm legbars some favellies and some missed mutts but I Googled vent sexing and learned a lot about it but this was my first time and I am so hoping I am right however I am confident about it

These guys finished hatching yesterday. 14 in all. Isabelle leghorn X dark brown leghorn splits, swedish flower hens and one little frisian gull from pullets eggs.

Awww! All these baby chickens! <3 But soon I will have photos of baby quail to show off. I have a rocker in the incubator!
