December hatch along

Pics
Just pulled the first set off the turners. Should have hatch starting on Wednesday and ending Friday the way they’re staggered.

Also set the Christmas hatch a day early. I thought today was the 4th. Oops.
I should have babies in two to three days I initially thought the fifth for some reason but I think my hatch keeper is saying the sixth and that would make sense since I would be working all night the fifth so I wouldn’t be able to keep an eye on them but looking at the eggs I may have some hatch early Wednesday

I am on day 8, Going to candle but I doubt I see much. if I had 4 hands I would take pictures, sadly I only have 2 and The Cat won't help. 2 days from now is when I can start weeding out the infertile ones.

.... my 2 Serama eggs are infertile but I am leaving them until day 10 to verify. All other eggs look good with the exception of one of my Dorking x Red Rangers has that single blood line. The Marans were very hard to see as usual but the little bit I could see looked heathy.

I decided to join in on the split hatch thing, and put 6 more egg's in the incubator. All of those empty spots in there were calling to me!
My incubator is crammed. I am using an Incuview. All of the Cream Legbars are growing! And i have some Tolbunt Polish eggs in there too.

Good luck on your hatch! I had some egg's from my CCLB hen that I hatched out the last time. She was bred to my NN/Breese roo. I kept 2 of the pullets from that hatch because I liked how unusual they turned out to be. This time I'm only hatching my biggest eggs from my flock. They are single yolks, but they are jumbo after the molting was done.

I actually considered doing a Christmas day hatch but I had the right amount of eggs ready to go and just went with when I had full capacity. The only specific date I am aiming for is Feb 11th because thats when I have chicks ordered and I figure its better to hatch on the same day so all the chicks are the same age in my giant brooder am currently preparing.
How big is the brooder? I just recently finished this duplex brooder.
