I too am hatching out chicks today.. day 21 was Wednesday.. I had about lost hope on seeing anything from this group of BLRW eggs from the auction.. one is hatched.. two more "cracks"..waiting on a pip.

8 of 11 Blue Orpingtons hatched (one egg candled clear at lockdown) and I THINK I might see some activity with one more.. GREAT percentage for shipped eggs in my opinion.

12 of 15 BLRW eggs made it to lockdown.. one has hatched.. so percentage not looking as well.. but not counting "chicks" before they all decide to hatch yet.

Have a wonderful Christmas Eve.. nothing better than watching new life coming into the world.

I am absolutely tortured. I have 2 eggs that made it this far. My day 18 candling showed good movement on both. I locked them down 3 days ago and they have stayed at 99 degrees and 60% humidity since then.

Dwegg, You've got some really cute furry butts there. So many already.. awwww.. great pics too. Good camera u got there.

I only have 3 out, 2 more pipped, and so many haven't even pipped. I'm getting a tad bit nervous, but I hope they'll all come out today or tomorrow.

Cute babies everyone!

I got 13 silkies out of 22 shipped eggs, one passed away though. Hatched really late, shell was really bloody, he was weak.....
I got 4 cuckoo marans out of 5. One is still in the bator, pipped, but looks too big to turn around. He is 2 days late.....we shall see.

I've got 2 out of 5 pipped. They did so early this morning. Only one has made a hole. They are a little early but the temps ran high for the last week of incubation. So I figured I would have early hatchers.

So I have 9 lemon blue Cochins and 1 BLRW....they were due today so I hope something else will still hatch from the remaining eggs ...please? Come chicks!

I am pretty sure that we are up to 3 now, hard to tell as momma won't get up

I'm almost to day 22 and no pips.

I candled the eggs and saw and heard no movement. I still have them in the hatcher, just in case.
