this may be a really stupid question, but in a deep pool type pond, like a tub of some sort, how do the ducks get out? I know that in a regular pond in the ground outside, they would have an incline of the ground and walk out because the ground is under their feet, but in a pool type setting, how do they get out if their feet can't touch?

Very good question - short answer is most of the time they cannot. And they could drown after becoming exhausted. Depending on the area of the pool, they might be able to flap their wings, get a little lift, and reach the edge of the pool.

If you have something deeper, there needs to be a ramp inside. Just a note - My ducks seem unable to notice a ramp if there is only one.

Ok, so I would need more than one ramp, correct?

so let's say I have a jacuzzi bathtub for them, there won't be much area for a ramp though.
