Very carefully, Augustine slid off of her steed with a hand resting against his velvety neck. She noticed Danielle's downcast eyes. "Is something the matter? Or do you think you must look down in my presence?" she gently added. "If the latter is the case, you do not have to do so."

"I-I was taught not to look up in the presence of the queen..." She said softly, hiding a smile as she felt Charles holding her hand.
