worst part is since I got the chicks now hubby says he gets his pheasants.. we are now the proud owners of a pair of silvers, 5 pair of red goldens, 2 pair of lady amhearsts, a trio of yellow goldens and several stag hybrid males LOL... HAHAHAHA

Man, he didn't want just a few did he? I would get shot if I asked to raise quails.

I am thinking about getting some peacocks and peahens in the spring though.(if I don't get shot first

NO!! None made it from the delawares or the Brabanters.. we did have a lot of the mottled cochin hatch (they had also been shipped), and LOTS of phoenix.. but the delaware blues and the brabanters must have had too hard a trip the lady with the Delawares just sent me another dozen (free, just paid for shipping) to try again

Keep your fingers crossed they had a better trip...
