Delaware leg color?

What color legs are Delaware chicks supposed to have? We ordered ours from a commercial hatchery and they have gray/slateish legs. I thought they were supposed to have yellow?

Yep, shanks and toes should be yellow.

Should be bright, clear yellow. Many Delawares, especially hatchery types, dusky, pale legs or even greenish-looking.

I posted earlier about these guys not being hardy and maturing at the rate they should be- guess now there are more clues to this! Guess I will sell this stock off and get some eggs or chicks from a real breeder.

Anyone have Dele eggs? lol
