Delawares from kathyinmo

Gust visited the cockerels at bedtime last night and they behaved just the way I would if a snake visited my bedroom.

I laughed at the video of Gust chasing the frisbie and the little Cocky bird chasing Gust - it was funny .

Tonka is our coop mascot. He gets away with a lot because he is just so funny. He sleeps in a little abandoned coop/shelter out back of the main coops, and has two anti-social females that sleep with him.

Where's the video of Gust being chased by the chicken? I would love to see that.

She had a video of he Dels on here and it was linked to that- not sure which thread it was on. Maybe she can post it up.

Where are the baby pics Kittie ???

Here is a link to the video of Dad, Gust & Tonka playing frisbee. I was late to the party, so everyone was a little sick of the game by the time I showed up, and my iPhone vids suck. But ... kinda cute if you don't have the volume up so loud that Gust's shrill barks damage your ears.

Now SOMEONE owes me chick pics!

While we're in the topic of cute cocks, our little bantam Cochin Ruffles finally has a harem ... of one. One of the Delaware pullets we culled into the free-range laying flock has started following him around. He has been trying to mate her but can't get a good grip so slides forward and to the side at her ear.
