That is something best done with 2 people. I tried it alone, so photos not the best. I don't think any of these are what would be considered correct, since they weren't selected for color, yet. Birds will be a year old April 29.

I think I'm about half way through incubating the first batch ... I'm not candling at all. It will be a surprise either way.

Oh, so sorry to hear!Well, I am a bit disappointed.My hen set great but the weather has been cold or hot or wet etc. Out of 7 eggs I have three active chicks. Two were stuck in their dried shells. With the humidity we have had here I did not expect that. One I helped out this morning but I am not sure it will make it. It would be num. 4. The three . that's out are running around everywhere. My Ameracuana hen is a sweety. so far she has not been a bit mean to me.![]()
Well my bator parts finally arrived after a grand tour trip by FEDEX .
